I’m not in favour of the Tsarist autocracy; it’s more the personal lives of the Russian monarchy that I find fascinating. However, I’m a biochemistry student with a passion for Russian history; rather than a historian or a politician. So I’m not really knowledgeable enough to form a strong opinion either way!
